A Cat® Customer Value Agreement (CVA) is a hassle-free ownership plan designed to keep your equipment running at peak performance while lowering your total cost of ownership. Whether you manage a single machine or an entire fleet, a CVA helps you plan ahead, reduce downtime, extend the life of your investment, and get BACK TO WORK fast.

Whether you prefer to handle maintenance in-house or want full dealer support, we’ve got a plan for you.  We have three tailored Customer Value Agreements to cover your needs in the Boyd Advantage CVA, a Parts Support CVA, and a Total Maintenance and Repair CVA

ADVANTAGE CVA

A Boyd CAT® Advantage CVA brings the value of a Parts Support CVA AND pairs it with Dealer managed services support. Having your PM services managed by the experts means a trained technician with be there with Genuine Cat® parts when it’s convenient to you to get your equipment ready when you need it.

With an Advantage CVA trained experts at Boyd CAT® manage and monitor your equipment’s health while you focus on getting your work done and not worrying about potential downtime. You’ll get:

Parts Availability Commitment – Get the maintenance parts you need within 24 hours, or we’ll pay for them, up to $1,000.

Service Commitment – Priority scheduling for unexpected repairs. Guaranteed to have your machine up and running by the completion date given, or we’ll give you $1,000.

Filter Discounts – Discounts on CAT Filters.

SOS Processing – Oil analysis and recommendations.

Vision Link Subscription – Allows for daily SMU and Location reporting.

PM Service Interval Tracking – Notifies you when your machine is due for Service, and a dedicated Machine Analyst Coordinator will reach out to schedule your next service.

PM Services – Performed by CAT-trained technicians, Equipment Inspections.

Condition Monitoring – Daily telematics and machine event reporting

ADVANTAGE CVA SERVICE COMMITMENT

With an Advantage CVA, we’re dedicated to keeping your production flowing and uptime constant. For unplanned repairs, our service commitment means you will receive a technician response by the second business day. If we miss that window, you will receive $1,000 in Cat® Credits.

ADVANTAGE CVA PARTS AVAILABILITY COMMITMENT

With an Advantage CVA, we’re dedicated to keeping your production flowing with our Parts Availability Commitment. In the event that you need parts, you will get Back to Work fast – or we pay for them. This plan also includes delivery of Maintenance, Wear, and Common Repair parts available next day or we pay for them, up to $1,000 in Cat® Credits.

PARTS SUPPORT CVA

Our Parts Support CVA is a great way to keep your Caterpillar equipment productive. We support your equipment health, so you can focus on getting the work done. Streamline your equipment maintenance and save on Parts with a Parts Support CVA.

With a Parts Support CVA you will get:

PARTS SUPPORT CVA PARTS AVAILABILITY COMMITMENT

Get genuine Cat® maintenance parts when you need them fast – or we will pay for them. A Parts Support CVA also includes discounts on qualified maintenance parts. If you have a CVA with a dealer-performed service and need a common repair part, we’ll get it to you as soon as the end of the 2nd business day. If we don’t, you’ll receive a Cat Credit for the value of the part up to $1,000 USD. 

Total Maintenance and Repair CVA

A Total Maintenance and Repair CVA offers the peace of mind of managed parts support, PM maintenance and repairs. Under the pay-by-machine model, you know your costs ahead of time and can plan for keeping your equipment running with optimal uptime. A dedicated Condition Monitoring Analyst will provide daily telematics and machine event reporting, along with machine health reports.

Parts Availability Commitment – Get the maintenance parts you need within 24 hours or we’ll pay for them, up to $1,000.

Service Commitment– Priority scheduling on unexpected repairs. Guarantee to have your machine up and running by the completion date given, or we’ll give you $1,000.

Streamline Communication & Minimize Downtime

Cat® Interact is an easy-to-use platform that streamlines communication between you and Boyd CAT® by delivering important service information, including status updates, inspection reminders and results, quotes, and estimates. It even lets you and Boyd technicians share equipment photos and videos via smartphone, tablet, or desktop, making it accessible no matter where you are. CVA stands for Customer Value Agreement. A CVA is a partnership plan with Boyd CAT to streamline customer maintenance and maximize your equipment investment. The CVA defines support offerings to help manage your equipment throughout its lifecycle.

  • Offer is good for all new or renewed Parts Support and Advantage CVAs starting January 1, 2026
  • Minimum of 1yr/2000hr term CVA required
  • SOS is required every 6 months or 500 hours minimum
  • Customer is responsible for maintaining Product Link equipment in good working order throughout the term of the CVA
  • Non-CAT equipment, some mining equipment, electric power, and commercial engines are excluded from the Parts and Service commitment guarantee

No. The Boyd Advantage Program is available on specific equipment models (Cat 255-285 Compact Track Loaders and Cat 303-310 Mini Excavators) and includes industry-leading financing offers, paired with PM services and extended coverage beyond standard warranties. The Boyd CAT Advantage Parts and Service CVA is a dealer-managed Customer Value Agreement for Parts and Services available on many equipment types. Contact your Boyd CAT Dealer for more information.

You can apply for the Boyd Advantage Program at any time for qualifying models.

If your equipment repair is expected to take longer than 48 hours, your Boyd Service Representative will give you an estimated completion date. If that agreed upon date is not met, we will issue you $1,000 in Cat Credits.

A Parts Support CVA is an agreement in which Boyd CAT tracks when your machine’s Preventative Maintenance intervals are approaching (via Product Link) and coordinates the availability of discounted maintenance parts as you service your equipment. Parts Support CVAs qualify for the Parts Availability commitment.

A Boyd Advantage CVA expands on a Parts Support CVA. Boyd Cat will oversee and manage all Preventative Maintenance for your equipment. We will track and schedule your PM services, supply parts, manage new and used oil logistics, and provide the labor to perform services at your convenience. Services can be scheduled after hours to not interrupt your production hours. We will provide a machine inspection report following each service, and fluid analysis results to show current health status of component fluid. Experts support your team with training and access to CAT digital applications. In addition to Maintenance Parts Availability and Repair Parts Availability commitment, our Services Commitment now includes Boyd CAT’s Uptime Guarantee.

If you are on a Parts Support CVA or Boyd Advantage Premium Parts and Service CVA, we guarantee we’ll have maintenance parts available for you by the end of the next business day. If we don’t meet our guarantee, you will receive a credit for the cost of the parts up to $1000 (in Cat Credits).

If you are on a Boyd Advantage CVA, we guarantee we’ll have repair parts available for you by the end of the second business day. If we don’t meet our guarantee, you will receive a credit for the cost of the parts up to $1000 (in Cat Credits).

Our Services Commitment aligns Boyd CAT with your operational needs. The Services Commitment includes Maintenance Parts Availability, Services Availability, and Repair Parts Availability.

Boyd Advantage Premium Parts and Service CVAs qualify for both shop and field guarantees:

Shop: Priority Scheduling at any of our 19 shop locations, inspection/diagnostics/estimate within 2 business days, and guaranteed to be completed by the promised date, or receive a $1000 credit towards your next service.

Field: Remote diagnostics, machine repaired and back to work by the end of the second business day from your call, or you will receive a $1000 credit toward your next service.

Planned Repairs are general maintenance and any potential repairs that were identified and communicated by our condition monitoring team or sales representatives via email, text, phone or in person. These repairs DO NOT qualify for our Services Commitment payout.

Unplanned Repairs are performed when your equipment becomes inoperable without prior warning and stops production. These repairs DO qualify for payout through our Services Commitment.

New and renewed Boyd Advantage Parts and Service CVAs qualify starting January 1, 2026.

If you request field service for unplanned repairs on a Wednesday, our commitment is to have your machine running by the end of the business day on Friday. If your request is on a Friday, our commitment is to have the machine running by the end of the business day on Tuesday.

This program requires a minimum of a 1-year, 2000-hour CVA.

We utilize CAT Product Link telematics. Most machines come equipped with this from Caterpillar, and it can be added to any machine as needed. Connectivity come standard under both CVA options.

Machines on a Boyd Advantage CVA qualify for Product Link repairs. Your subscription is also covered and provides daily updates of machine hours, location, and other machine health data produced by the machine. If Product Link is not working when you initiate the CVA, we can provide an estimate to repair the telematics system so you can enjoy the future coverage and benefits of telematics.

Boyd Cat will cover the VisionLink subscription to bring third party telematics data over from your provider, allowing us to manage service timelines. Repair or replacement of third party telematics systems are not covered as part of a CVA.

Customer or operator damage, neglect, or dealer repair recommendations are not followed.

Non-CAT equipment, some mining equipment, electric power and commercial engines are excluded from Parts and Service commitment guarantee.
